God
gave us the gift of life. The meaning of life is to find your gift.
Breathing is the first act of life and the last. When the breath from God
leaves, whatever remains is but
dust and goes back to
dust. Instinct is an untaught ability. Intuition is the whisper of the soul. Awareness of ignorance is the beginning of wisdom.
Wisdom is built on knowledge. Knowledge always comes first. Knowledge removes the darkness of ignorance in life. Education is the best antidote for ignorance.
Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering
others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.
Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance. To acquire
knowledge, one must study; but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.
Knowing yourself is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom is the right use
of knowledge.
Knowledge
isn't free. You have to pay attention.
Science is organized knowledge; wisdom is organized life. Integrity is
telling the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.
The ability to use our knowledge and experience to make good decisions and
judgments. Good judgment and advice in difficult and uncertain matters of
life. Listen to your instincts and manage growth wisely. It will
help you see and do the right thing at the right time, in the right way, with
the right people. Knowledge speaks but wisdom listens.
If we were supposed
to talk more than we listen, we would have two mouths and one ear.
Knowledge is knowing what to say. Wisdom is knowing when to say it.
Wisdom, on the other hand, is the ability to use knowledge in a practical,
intelligent way. Intelligence is not measured by how much you know but by
how much you have the capacity to learn.
Intelligence is like a river. The deeper it is, the less noise it makes.
The wisdom of animals Inspire us. A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.
Money can buy a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail. A wise old owl sat on an oak; the more he saw, the less he spoke; the less he spoke, the more he heard. A rabbit would not eat the grass right next to its burrow, potentially exposing itself to predators. A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song. Observe and reflect, and become a little wiser every day.
We are neither doves nor hawks but owls, and we are vigilant when others are resting.
Be an eagle instead of flocking like pigeons.
You can't soar like an eagle when you surround yourself with turkeys. Flutter like a hummingbird, be bold like an eagle, and have a fearless spirit. All birds find shelter during a rainstorm. An eagle uses the negative energy of a storm to fly even higher. One swallow does not make a summer. Swallows fly to the south for the winter and return to the north in spring. Salmon species migrate during the autumn. Octopuses can change color to match their surroundings and become nearly invisible, use their ink to scare or distract predators so they can escape before being seen or eaten, and use color to communicate with other octopuses.
Flowers communicate with
bumblebees through
static electricity,
where a flower that hasn't been visited builds up a static charge that can be
detected by the tiny
hairs on a bee's body, signaling
the presence of
available nectar.
The groundhog sees his shadow; he gets scared and returns to hibernation,
serving as a prediction of six more weeks of winter. If the groundhog does
not see his shadow, spring will arrive early.
Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of a lifelong attempt to acquire
it. Knowledge comes from learning. Experience comes from living.
A life without problems is like a school without lessons. Sometimes you
have to experience the bad, so that you can learn to appreciate the good things
that enter your life. To attain knowledge, add things everyday,
understanding, and accepting new information.
Intelligence is an individual's capacity to store and utilize information, while
wisdom is more practical knowledge gained through experience. Intelligence
doesn't guarantee wisdom. Intellect takes you to the door, but it doesn't
take you into the house. It requires wisdom to understand wisdom; the
music is nothing if the audience is deaf.
Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure. Wonder is the beginning of wisdom. We are not given a good or bad life. We are given a life, it is up to
us to make it good or bad.
Emotions are slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your
emotions.
Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if you remember to turn
on the light. When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade. Life is like a book. Some chapters are sad, some are happy, and some
are exciting. You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep
re-reading the last one. Don't stay where you don't belong.
If you don't let the past die, then it won't
let you live.
You can never plan the future based on the past. Be
strong
enough to let go and wise enough to wait for what you deserve. Do not
dwell in the past; do not dream of the future. Concentrate the mind on the
present moment.
The heart of wisdom is to listen more than you speak and learn more than you teach.
No one is perfect. That's why pencils have erasers. Mistakes are painful,
but as time goes by, they become a collection of experiences called "lessons".
Learn to manage your stress by making choices that bring you joy. The truth is still the truth, even if no one believes it. A lie is still a lie, even if everyone believes it.
The truth is more important than the facts. The
truth
will set you free, but first it will piss you off.
Wisdom outweighs any
wealth.
Competition is the law
of the jungle, but cooperation is the law of civilization. The value of life cannot be measured by
any amount of money. Prefer knowledge to wealth, for one is transitory and the other perpetual.
Don't gain the world and lose your
soul; wisdom is better than silver or
gold. Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching. We either practice
what we've learned or learn what we need to practice. Learn from
yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow. Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.
Time is the wisest counselor of all. Your time is your life.
That is why the
greatest gift you can give someone is your time. A loving heart is the truest wisdom.
"For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul."
(Proverbs 2:10)
Live to discover the value of life, not
the length of days. In the end, it's not the years in your life that
count. It's the life of your years.
